While most people strive to clock in and out of work every day, leaving work behind them, clearly, Grace and I are far from normal.Work has always been a passion of our's. I mean, we literally met at work. Classic love story. A girl sees a guy helping a tractor trailer pull up to a loading dock, and that guy has to ask said girl for a radio pack. Love at first sight, clearly. So inspiring, that we had to hide our relationship from our coworkers for months. That was until we went on a company wine tour, and some liquid courage helped me forget that we weren't telling people we we're dating. Yeah....whoops.
Hey everyone. I'm Jasper. Obviously the most important thing in Jordan and Grace's lives. Not sure if you all knew, but I am the first major life decision my parents made together. Here I was enjoying the 4th of July at my foster's mom's house, and they took it upon themselves to claim me as one of their own. Being old weeks old, Ms. Tracy treated me like a king. I had a playpen, buckets of food, toys, siblings, it was great. The last thing I remember, Mr. Chris accidentally set off all of his fireworks at once sending all of the humans running from each other, tripping over lawn chairs and ducking for cover. It was beautiful. That was the best day of my life. Because I met my first best friend: Toby.
Growing up I didn’t realize that there were football fans out there who never saw their team have a winning season, go to the playoffs, win division titles and not only go to the Super Bowl but actually win the Super Bowl. Growing up with Peyton Manning as your quarterback meant that you just never got stressed on game day, because the chances of you winning were pretty high.
If you didn't know, I used to travel full-time for work. I've seen most of the United States. I could pack a suitcase in less than 20 minutes and be ready to go. I literally had a set of clothes that went right back into my suitcase after I washed them, because what was the point of unpacking when you take 2-4 flights a week? But even with all of that travel, there's one place I didn't spend much time in: the Mid-west. And boy has it been an adjustment.
